Henry Sy is still the richest person in the Philippines with an increased net worth of $9.1 billion from $7.2 billion last year. The 87 year old Filipino-Chinese business taipan, who founded SM Group, was far ahead of Lucio Tan, who is at the second place with a net worth of $4.5 billion ($2.8 billion in 2011). But among the Filipinos, who are included in the list, the biggest gainer is Enrique Razon, Jr. Razon, a port operator who controls Manila-listed International Container Terminal Services, climbs from the 7th spot to the 3rd spot of the list of wealthiest Filipinos this year. His net worth has increased from $1.6 billion last year to $3.6 billion this year.
